The question is not whether God is greater than the virus; I have no doubt about that.

The question is not whether God is greater than the virus; I have no doubt about that. The question is whether God did or did not make or send it it. If not, and every indication shows both God’s frustration with and intervention into a fallen, often harmful nature, his people should, like the Lord, fight evil, injustice, and all that is opposed life and peace. That is how we should, and have lived as children of God, rather than having Nature as our model mother.

Those who challenge God to show up greater than the virus reject the mandate to have dominion over it. They pit their faith against the command to not tempt God, and against reality in a wager that denies God his character, and reality its created order.

This does not mean one should not pray. A divine act would show God’s power and confirm His view on the destructive nature of the virus. But, leaning on a word of Christ, viruses „will always be with you“. It is part of our current mandate to find a remedy in the near future: pray for skill, accept social isolation, stay in touch, clear the air of political points, help the poor, become again a united people, and benefit from cleaner air, less polluted water, and your feet to.walk onDie Frage ist nicht, ob Gott größer ist als der Virus; daran habe ich keinen Zweifel. Diejenigen, die Gott herausfordern, größer als das Virus zu zeigen, lehnen das Mandat ab, die Herrschaft darüber zu haben. Sie putzen ihren Glauben gegen den Befehl, um Gott nicht zu verführen, und gegen die Realität in einer Wette, die Gott seinen Charakter verleugnet, und die Wirklichkeit seine geschaffene Ordnung

Das bedeutet nicht, dass man nicht beten sollte. Eine göttliche Tat würde Gottes Macht zeigen und seine Sicht auf die zerstörerische Natur des Virus bestätigen. Aber wenn man sich auf ein Wort Christi lehnen, werden Viren „immer bei dir sein“. Es ist Teil unseres aktuellen Mandats, in naher Zukunft ein Mittel zu finden: Betet für Können, soziale Isolation annehmen, in Kontakt bleiben, die Luft frei machen politischer Punkte, hilf den Armen, werde wieder ein vereintes Volk und profitiere von sauberer Luft, weniger verschmutztem Wasser und deinen Füßen. spazieren gehen
